The Hukilau House. This is where we stayed. It has 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and the back yard is probably 20 yards away from the ocean. It is also within walking distance of the Temple, Polynesian Cultural Center, and BYU Hawaii, (our friends were evacuated during the Tsunami warning).
Boogie boarding behind the house in the rain, soooooo fun though!
These totally amazing trees grow all over in Hawaii. They are colored this way from roots to tip, (and they are VERY tall). No, nobody paints them, although it looks like it.
If you ever wanted to know how a pineapple grows, here you go!
The day the public beaches were closed, nobody in the water. The under currents were to strong. Although this is also the day we went boogie boarding, gotta love private beaches.
