A copy of a nice letter to Grandma G from Suzie

Okay... I'm taking a little license here that maybe I shouldn't. I so loved this e mail that I got from Susanna - I think everyone might like reading it. I just talked to Grandma and read it to her and she loved it too. She laughed and that was so good to hear. I often have a hard time thinking of what to say to her. So anyway... for whoever wants here's Suzie's e mail. Enjoy.

Dear grandma,
A couple days ago, our class did a class election for mayor. Millions of people ran, and millions more didn't. I was one of the people that ran for mayor. Of course, I had only a 20 out of 100 chance of winning. When we did it, I had to promise a lot of things. And didn't know if I was going to win. I was really intense and I was also a little scared. What if I don't get any votes?Or what if I get all votes, and no one else voted for any one exept for me? Soon I was going to find out though. After a movie and my teacher had counted all of the votes. She announced it. She said "It was almost a tie, but one person won by one vote" Then I said in my head, "Hurry up! None of us care about this, we just want to know who won!" Then my teacher said "But the winner is... Suzie!" my heart skipped a beat, and I could barely say anything. The only thing that I could do was slap my mouth with my hand. So that's what I did, over and over and over again! All I could do was that.
But then what I saw almost made me want to give it up.My best friend also ran for mayor. And when I looked over at her, she was almost crying! I knew that if we both ran, and one of us won, the other would be really mad. But I thought that she never wanted to see me ever again! But, I was wrong. So now I am mayor.
By the way grandma, I love you so much! And I can't wait until I see you again. Oh and me and Chandra, made a little dare. She made 2 necklace's and gave one to me. She said that, until you get home, we have to wear them wear ever we go. So that is what we will be doing till you get home! I love and miss you so much, and I hope you have a great Valentines Day!
Love always,
Suzie

Gee... aren't we all so glad to know someone famous like this 'new mayor.' Especially when 'millions' were running.
